2019 has been a particularly difficult year for the people of Haiti. An inflation rate of 18%, political unrest and closures of basic services like schools place a heavy toll on people and their communities. Our clinic continues to operate and our staff are well though some staff at times are not able to get to work. These are particularly tough times for our staff and our community. While our goal is to create sustainable programing, at times immediate relief is needed. This month we began providing community meals in our area. We hope that the extra food provides much needed sustenance and that the communal meals provide another opportunity for people to come together to support each other during these difficult times. The need is great and we hope to be able to expand the program. The size of the program is based on our ability to raise funds. Please donate on line to help with this emergency project. Your help is greatly appreciated.
