On August 14, 2021 a magnitude 7.2 earthquake struck near Les Cayes, Haiti killing over 2,200 people, injuring over 12,000 and damaging over 180,000 homes, schools, businesses and churches. Our staff in Leogane, survivors of the 2010 earthquake, organized Health Center and Kiskeya Guest house staff and local volunteers and traveled to Les Cayes on Friday August 20, 2021.  They set up a mobile clinic and provided food, water and other assistance.  Understanding the need for ongoing support after an earthquake and the lack of local resources they plan to return on a regular basis.  We are saddened by the loss of life and ongoing needs and are so thankful for our dedicated staff and their work to help others in need. Your donations will help us increase support services in Les Cayes.
